Chapter 12 - The Fall of Babylon
Revelation chapters 14 and18 tell us when and how Babylon will fall. First of all, in Rev 14:1-5, we can see that she falls just after the Rapture of the bride of Christ, as we see that the bride is in heaven with the Lamb, standing in front of the throne.
Rev 14:1-5 Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.
These 144,000 souls ARE NOT Jews living on the Earth! It is clear here that they are standing with the Lamb on Mount Zion, that they are all singing a new song before the throne, and that they have been redeemed. These are the wise virgins, and they are called virgins here, and it repeats a second time that they are before the throne of God. After we are see the Lamb and his bride standing on Mount Zion, we are told that those of every nation and tongue who are still dwelling on the Earth, are now going to be hearing the everlasting gospel.
Rev 14:6-7 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth: to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water."
Then we are told that Babylon falls in verse 8.
Rev 14:8 And another angel followed, saying, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication."
Next if we look at Rev 18, we are given another account of the fall of Babylon.
Rev 18:1-2 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!
Here we are informed that when Babylon falls, she will become a dwelling place of all kinds of demons and evil spirits. This is because the God’s hand of restraint has now been lifted from the world, and the fallen angels have been cast to the earth, which occurred when the stars began to fall to the Earth, which is part of the Apocalypse (manifestation) that will occur during the Parousia (coming).
I believe that American is a "daughter" of Babylon, but the Bible will not support that one single country or that the Catholic Church alone, is Babylon the Great, because they do not fully qualify or fulfill all the requirements as stated in Rev 18. The only thing that can fulfill all the requirements of this chapter, is the world, which also includes the financial systems, the governments systems, and the false religious systems, which includes the Illuminati and all the Satanists of the world. Following are all the requirements listed in this chapter.
#1 - She glorified herself and lived luxuriously. (verse 7)
#2 - The kings of the earth have committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her. (verse 9)
#3 – The merchandise she has sold to the merchants of the Earth include: gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, purple garments, silk, scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, marble, cinnamon, incense, fragrant oils, frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, and chariots. (verses 7-13)
#4 – Among the merchandise she has sold to the merchants of the Earth includes bodies and souls of men. (verse 13)
#5 - Every shipmaster, and all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, will stand at a distance and cry out when they see the smoke of her burning. (verse 18)
#6 - The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters were once heard in her. (verse 22)
#7 – Craftsmen of all crafts and the sound of the millstone were once found in her. (verse 22)
#8 - The voice of the bridegroom and the bride were once heard in her. (verse 23)
#9 – Her merchants were the great men of the earth. (verse 19)
#10 - By her sorcery all the nations were deceived. (verse 23)
#11 – The blood of the prophets and the saints, and the blood of all who have been slain are in her. (verse 24)
Only the world can qualify as the city in which the blood of all the prophets and all the saints, and all who have been slain, is found. America cannot be qualified by this last requirement, although I do believe that America is a daughter of Babylon as described in Isaiah 47.

In all of written history there has never existed a country greater and more blessed of God than the United States of America. During America's brief history since gaining her independence in 1776, no other country in the world had attained her power, wealth, productivity, medical, and technological advancements, and there was a time when all the nations of the world had acknowledged her supremacy. But now, because of several developing factors, it appears that the more powerful nations of the world are all beginning to lose faith in her, and have begun plotting against her. These developing factors are now converging together to bring America to her demise, and God is also getting ready to judge her severely. The entire 47th chapter of Isaiah describes this judgment.
Isaiah 47:1-15 Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called tender and delicate. Take the millstones and grind meal, remove your veil, take off the skirt, uncover the thigh, and pass through the rivers. Your nakedness shall be uncovered; yes, your shame will be seen. I will take vengeance, and no man shall stand against me, as for our Redeemer, the Lord of hosts is His name, the Holy One of Israel. Sit in silence, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans; for you shall no longer be called The Lady of Kingdoms. I was angry with my people; I have polluted my inheritance and given them into your hand, and you showed them no mercy; on the elderly you laid your yoke very heavily. And you said, “I shall be a lady forever,” so that you did not take these things to heart, nor remembered the latter end of them. Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures, who dwell securely, who say in your heart, “I am, and there is no one else besides me; I shall not sit as a widow,nor shall I know the loss of children”; But these two things shall come to you in a moment, in one day: the loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness because of the multitude of your sorceries, for the great abundance of your enchantments. For you have trusted in your wickedness; you have said, “No one sees me”; your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; and you have said in your heart, “I am, and there is no one else besides me.” Therefore evil shall come upon you; you shall not know from where it arises, and trouble shall fall upon you; you will not be able to put it off. And desolation shall come upon you suddenly, which you shall not know. Stand now with your enchantments and the multitude of your sorceries, in which you have labored from your youth-- perhaps you will be able to profit; perhaps you will prevail. You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels; let now the astrologers, the stargazers, and the monthly prognosticators stand up and save you from what shall come upon you. When comparing America of today from America of the 1950’s, the degradation of her social standards becomes abundantly evident. Child abuse, pedophilia, pornography, abortion, the greed of the Elite, the thievery of Wall Street, idol worship, homosexuality, Satan worship, and the removal of God from our schools and public meeting places; the corruption of the mega-churches, both financially and morally, and their love of prosperity and watered-down Gospels. History is repeating itself, as the false prophets of Jeremiah's day were doing before God destroyed them.
Jeremiah 8:11 For they [the false teachers] have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, Saying, "Peace, peace!" When there is no peace.
Jeremiah 3:8 Then I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but went and played the harlot also.
Just as God used the Babylonian armies in helping Him destroy the 12 tribes of Israel in 587 BC, God will also use the armies of the world today to destroy America.
Jeremiah 5:15 Behold, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, says the Lord: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you do not know, nor can you understand what they say.
Because God had abundantly blessed America, much was required of her.

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
America the daughter of Babylon, is not Babylon the Great, who sits on a beast with seven heads. Each of the seven heads represents a mountain.
Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.
Because the number 7 represent a perfect number, Babylon can be seen as ruling over a perfect number of kingdoms in the world, as the mother of harlots, and abominations of the Earth (Rev 17:5). In Rev 18:21, we can see that Babylon will be destroyed by an asteroid impact.
Rev 18:21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore.
This asteroid impact is also described in Rev 8.
Rev 8:8 Then the second angel sounded [a trumpet]; and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea.
When the asteroid impact hits, Babylon will fall in one hour, meaning it will occur in a short space of time.
Rev 18:10 Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come!
