Our Present Age
and how it will end

Chapter 10 – The the Day of the Lord
and the 7 Seals of the Apocalypse

In this study I will show that the 7 Seals of the Apocalypse will be opened on the Day of the Lord, which is the day when Christ returns to Rapture His Bride. On that day, the Bride will not be completely removed from the world, but will rather be “transformed”, or become “hidden”, existing in “higher” frequencies and dimensions; having the ability to exist both within the lower physical dimensions of Earth and the higher heavenly dimensions. To get an idea of this, think about how angels were able to appear to Abraham, Lot, Sarah, Daniel, Mary, and others. Think about what occurred at the mount of transfiguration as described in Matthew chapter 17, where the disciples were able to physically see Moses and Elijah with their eyes. We can know from those accounts, that beings that exist in higher dimensions can manifest themselves to us in our physical Earthly dimensions. The Bride that will be transformed on the Day of the Lord will be composed of the wise virgins, as described in Matthew chapter 25, and are also referred to as “the manifested sons of God” in Romans 8.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation [G602] of the sons of God.

The English word “Apocalypse” is derived from the Greek noun “Apokalypsis” (Strong’s = G602), which means “Revelation”. The Day of the Lord will be the first day of the Apocalypse because it will be the day when both the Lord Jesus Christ and His manifested Sons of God, and the Antichrist and the manifested sons of Satan will be revealed in the world; thus, the opening of the 7 seals of the Apocalypse is the beginning of the Revelation, or Apocalypse, of the end of the world. Not all 7 Seals relate to the wrath of God (as in for example, the First, Fifth, and Seventh Seals). We can know that all 7 Seals are all opened when Christ returns on the Day of the Lord by looking at the following passage of Revelation chapter 5.

“And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the scroll, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the scroll, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll, and to loose the seven seals thereof.”   Rev 5:1-5

We see that John the Revelator is weeping much because no man was found worthy to open the seals except for the Lion of the tribe of Judah, which is Christ. Christ is never called the Lion of Judah until He returns on the Day of the Lord. So here we have our first clue that the first seal is not opened until Christ returns as the Lion of Judah. The next clue we are given is when John states that “no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth” was able to open the scroll or look upon it except for the Lord Jesus Christ. The only time that Christ is not “in heaven” after his ascension to heaven will be when He returns in the clouds on the Day of the Lord. Then he will not be “in heaven, nor in earth, nor under the earth”, but rather he will be in the clouds of our skies. Remember also that on the Day of the Lord, the firmament of heaven will depart as a scroll when it is rolled up. The 4 horsemen that go forth will also then continue to ride forth until the very last day, or complete end of the world.

We can know that the Day of the Lord will come upon the world instantly without a moment’s notice because the Bible repeatedly tells us that Christ will return at an “hour” when we least expect it, and that He will come “quickly”, as the “flash of lightning”.

Matthew 24:48-51 But if that evil servant says in his heart, “My master is delaying his coming,” and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Rev 2:5 I will come unto thee quickly; Rev 2:16 I will come unto thee quickly; Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly; Rev 22:7 Behold, I come quickly; Rev 22:12 Behold, I come quickly; Rev 22:20 Surely, I come quickly.

Matthew 24:27 For as lightning flashes from one end of heaven, and shines even unto the other end of heaven, so also shall the coming of the Son of man be.

Since we know that the flash of lightning travels at the speed of light, we can know that the Lord will “return”, or “appear” at the speed of light, from one end of heaven to the other.

Luke 17:24-30 For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day… And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man; they ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

The Bible is crystal clear that life will continue normally, while people are planting and building, and planning for their future, until the day when the Bride is removed, represented by Noah and Lot. We can also know that Christ will come when the firmament of heaven is removed, and that it will occur with a great “sound”.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

This great “sound” that the world will hear is also referred to as a “trumpet sound”, a “shout”, and as “the voice of an archangel”.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.

The First Seal
Revelation 6:1-2 “Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, "Come and see." And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.”

I know that most people believe that the rider of the first horse is the Antichrist, but that theory is not supported by the Bible. Only Jesus Christ as the rider of the white horse is supported by Scripture.

Revelation 19:11 “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.”

John tells us in Rev 19:11 that when heaven is opened and the Lord is seen returning and His bride is with him, that the Lord is seen riding on a white horse, and nowhere else does Scripture support that the Antichrist comes riding on a white horse. In fact, the Bible tells us that the beast, which is the Antichrist, rises up from the Earth.

Rev 13:11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.

“He who sat on it had a bow” Although the rider of the rider of the white horse has a bow, there is no mention of arrows, the Bible does refer to people as “arrows” in a quiver.

Psalm 127:3-5 “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord; The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate.”

Isaiah 49:2 “And He has made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of His hand has He hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver has He hid me.”
In Habakkuk 3, we find a passage that is describes mountains that are shaking or “trembling” at the sight of God who is marching through the land in indignation, and that He is shooting “arrows”.

Habakkuk 3:10-12 The mountains saw You and trembled; the overflowing of the water passed by. The deep uttered its voice, and lifted its hands on high. The sun and moon stood still in their habitation; at the light of Your arrows they went; at the shining of Your glittering spear, you marched through the land in indignation; you trampled the nations in anger.

The Second Seal
Revelation 6:3-4 When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, "Come and see." Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.

Although the rider of this horse is granted the right to take peace from the Earth, the Bible teaches that it is God who removes His hand of restraint and allows the Apocalypse to begin.

“For the mystery of iniquity does already work; only He who now restrains will do so, until He be taken out of the way.  And then shall that Wicked One be revealed...”  2 Thessalonians 2:7-8

Thus we can know that because it is God who restrains iniquity, and that it is God who removes His hand of restraint, then it is God who is the rider of the horse who has been granted to take peace from the Earth.

In the entire New Testament, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are the only entities ever affiliated with a “sword”, and in fact, in Revelation Chapter 19 we not only see Christ riding on a white horse, but we also see that He holds a sword.

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon it was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but He himself.  And he was clothed with a robe dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  And out of his mouth goes forth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.”      Rev 19:11-15

“And there was given to him a great sword.”

The “sword of the Spirit” is the word of God, and which Christ will also use to judge the world

Ephesians 6:17 “Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Revelation 2:12  "To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword.”

Hebrews 4:12  “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

The Third Seal
Revelation 6:5-6 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on it had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see you hurt not the oil and the wine.

“And he that sat on it had a pair of balances in his hand.”
The pair of balances this rider is holding is what the Lord Jesus Christ will use to judge the peoples of the world. This is supported by Daniel’s interpretation of “the writing on the wall” of Daniel Chapter 5.

“And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.  This is the interpretation of the matter: MENE; God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it. TEKEL; you are weighed in the balances, and are found wanting.  Daniel 5:25-27
This horse is not dealing with an economic collapse; it is dealing with the Judgment of God’s Chruch. Wheat and barley are always associated with God’s harvest of the Redeemed, and oil and wine are always associated with the Gospel of Salvation; which is why no one is allowed to hurt the oil and wine.

“Now therefore the wheat and the barley, and the oil and the wine, which my lord has spoken of, let him send unto his servants…” 2 Chronicles 2:15

“[He will] gather the wheat into His barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire…” Luke 3:17b

“The LORD will answer and say to His people, ‘Behold, I am going to send you grain, new oil and wine, and you will be satisfied in full with them.’”  Joel 2:19

The Bible teaches that when God comes, He will Judge His Church first.

1 Peter 4:16-17 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Thus we can know that it is God who is the rider of the black horse, as it is God who holds a pair of balances in His hand, and that His judgment will begin at the house of God first on the Day of the Lord.

The Fourth Seal
Revelation 6:7-8 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.

When the Lord returns on the Day of the Lord, all hell on earth is going to begin. Babylon will fall, and the peoples of the world are going to begin to live in chaos. They will loot the grocery stores, and when they are not able to find food to eat, people will begin to kill each other just to survive, and some will kill just for the sake of killing. Martial Law will be put into effect, but the killing will keep on going until the Last Day or end of the world. Very possibly World War III will also take place, people will be taken to FEMA camps, and I also believe we will see worldwide virus pandemics, and a zombie apocalypse. But all of this takes time, or course, but the opening of the Fourth Seal occurs on the Day of the Lord, and will also continue all the way until the very end of the world.

The name of the rider of this horse in Greek is Thanatos, which translates as the word Death in English. The name of the rider of this horse in Greek is Thanatos, which translates as the word Death in English. God is always in control of everyone who dies in the world, and the Bible teaches that when people die, those who die in Christ go to live with him in Paradise, and those who do not die in Christ go down into silence. Since on the Day of the Lord, Christ is no longer in Paradise, and the gates of the bottomless pit will open, then where do the Souls of the dead go? Well, the description of the Fifth Seal tells us where those who die in Christ will go, but otherwise, Hades is a place where the souls of the dead will go. No matter what, God is the One in control, and His attribute, called Thanatos, is the rider of the black horse.

The Fifth Seal
Revelation 6:9-11 “And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little while, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”

Here we see that when God’s attribute Thanatos (Death) takes the souls of those who die in Christ, their souls are held in a place described here as being “under the altar” of God. An “altar” is defined as follows: “An elevated place or structure, where religious rites are performed.” This altar of God is a Holy place, where those who die in Christ will be kept safe and sound until the events of the Apocalypse are completed, and until God’s Salvation Plan for those who will become the friends of the bridegroom is finished.

The Sixth Seal
Revelation 6:12-17 “I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"

The opening of the sixth seal will begin with a cosmic event that will cause a worldwide 3.0 magnitude earthquake followed by three days of darkness. The details of what I am describing has been revealed to many Bible prophets along with my own confirmation that I have personally received from the Lord, and so I am confident that what I am writing is going to truly happen in this manner. Rev 6:12 begins with:

Rev 6:12b “I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake.”
The Bible tells us that the opening of the sixth seal begins with a great earthquake, and so there is no disputing that fact. The next event that is described is the darkening of the sun, which will cause the moon to turn red, and the stars will fall to the earth with the removal of the firmament of heaven.

Rev 6:12b-13 The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Jesus also spoke of this event in Matthew chapter 24.

Matthew 24:29 The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

The prophet Joel and other OT prophets also spoke of this event.

Joel 3:15-16 The sun and moon will grow dark, And the stars will diminish their brightness. The Lord also will roar from Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; The heavens and earth will shake; But the Lord will be a shelter for His people, And the strength of the children of Israel.

As you can see, the darkening of the sun and a great shaking of the Earth (and even the powers of heaven) always go hand in hand.

If it is true that the world will undergo 3 days of darkness, it could very well be the Sign of the prophet Johan of which Jesus spoke about in Matthew chapter 12.

The Sign of the Prophet Jonah: Three Days of Darkness
Matthew 12:38-42 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, "Teacher, we want to see a sign from You." But He answered and said to them, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here. The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it.

Bible prophets also agree that the 3 days of darkness will be similar to one of the plagues of Moses.

Exodus 10:21-23 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, darkness which may even be felt." 22 So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. 23 They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

The darkness which they experienced was not a normal darkness, it was a supernatural darkness which they could “feel”, and they could not even see the person standing in front of them, but the children of Israel had the light of God in their dwellings.

This cosmic event that is coming will then bring about the signs in the sun, moon, and the stars. The picture in the middle is what our sun will look like when it turns black as sackcloth of hair. The vest shown below was made from black sackcloth of hair, which is a material made from black goat hair.

There are many prophets saying that they sky is going to turn red, which will cause the moon to look like the color of blood.

The image shown on the left is what real blood splatter looks like and as you can see, it has varying degrees of dark areas similar to the picture of a red moon.

The next thing that Rev 6 declares will occur is that the stars of heaven will fall to the Earth as a fig tree that is dropping her ripe figs.

Rev 6 12:13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.

I agree with those who teach that the stars that fall to the Earth are angelic beings. The Bible often refers to angels as stars.

Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.

Job 38:4-7 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Revelation 9:1 Then the fifth angel sounded: and I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth and to him was given the key to the bottomless pit.

Revelation 22:16 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star."

I do not believe what science teaches us about stars, but I believe that stars are where angels abide.

On the second day of Creation, God created the firmament of the heaven in order to separate the waters that were to remain above it, from the waters that would exist below it. These waters contain life.

Genesis 1:6-10 And God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven.” And the evening and the morning were the second day.

Genesis 1:14-18 Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth"; and it was so. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also; and God set them in the firmament of the heavens.

The removal of the firmament of heaven will make the sky appear as if it is being rolled up as a scroll. God created this firmament of the purpose of dividing the realms of the angelic dimensions that would continue to exist above the firmament, as well as to constrain them from interfering with the affairs of mankind. When this firmament is removed, the world will also begin to experience “climate chaos”, while at the same time, the bridge between the natural and the supernatural will also be crossed.

Luke 12:25-28 And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."

When the firmament of the sky is removed, an exchange of habitation will take place between the bride of Christ, who is caught up to heaven, and Satan and his angels, who are cast out of heaven. During this exchange is when the Rapture will occur, which I will cover in greater detail in Chapter 11.

The Parousia, Epiphaneia, and Apokalypsis
The Day of the Lord is related to three events: #1- the “coming” of the Son of God; #2- the “appearance”, or also “manifestation” of both the Son of God and the son of perdition; and and #3 – the “revelation” or “manifestation” of both the Son of God and the son of perdition. The word “coming” was translated from the Greek noun “Parousia” [G3952]. The words “appearance”, and “manifestation”, were translated from the Greek noun “Epiphaneia” [G2015]. With the words “revelation” and “manifestation”, the noun was translated from the Greek word “Apokalypsis” [G602], and the verb tense from “Apokalypto” [G601].

2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 Only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way, and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of his mouth, and shall destroy with the manifestation [G2015] of his coming [G3952].

Luke 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed [G601].

In Romans 8 we are told that the manifestation, or the “Apokalypsis”, of the sons of God is an event that the entire creation is earnestly anticipating.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation [G602] of the sons of God.

2 Thessalonians 2 tells us that the Day of the Lord will not come until the son of perdition is “revealed” [G601], which also means “manifested”, and that it will not occur until after the “departure”, which is the Rapture. This could possibly means that the man of sin, the son of perdition, will be an Anunnaki.

2 Thess 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come the departure first, and that man of sin be revealed [G601], the son of perdition.

The same passage also tells us that both the Lord Jesus Christ and the son of perdition will “come” [G3952] on that day.

2 Thess 2:7-10 Only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way, and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of his mouth, and shall destroy with the manifestation [G2015] of his coming [G3952].  The coming [G3952] of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying miracles, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

By looking at the 2 passages below, it is clear that the coming of both the Son of God and the son of perdition, (the son of perdition being one and the same as the abomination of desolation) occurs on the same day, which will be on the Day of the Lord.

Mark 13:14-16 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let the reader understand,) then let those that are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let he who is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take anything out of his house; and let he who is in the field not turn back again to get his clothes.

Luke 17:30-32 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back; Remember Lot's wife.

The Day of the Lord is also the day of the Lord’s anger.

Isaiah 2:12 For the day of the Lord of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up; and it shall be brought low.

Isaiah 13:6 Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty.

Isaiah 13:9 Behold, the day of the Lord comes, Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, To lay the land desolate; And He will destroy its sinners from it.

Isaiah 34:8 For it is the day of the Lord's vengeance, The year of recompense for the cause of Zion.

Jeremiah 46:10 For this is the day of the Lord God of hosts, A day of vengeance, That He may avenge Himself on His adversaries. The sword shall devour; It shall be satiated and made drunk with their blood; For the Lord God of hosts has a sacrifice In the north country by the River Euphrates.

Joel 1:15 Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is at hand; It shall come as destruction from the Almighty.

Joel 2:11 The Lord gives voice before His army, For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; Who can endure it?

Amos 5:18 Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! For what good is the day of the Lord to you? It will be darkness, and not light.

Amos 5:20 Is not the day of the Lord darkness, and not light? Is it not very dark, with no brightness in it?

Zephaniah 1:18 Neither their silver nor their gold Shall be able to deliver them In the day of the Lord's wrath; But the whole land shall be devoured By the fire of His jealousy, For He will make speedy riddance Of all those who dwell in the land.

The Seventh Seal
The opening of the 7 seals will bring about those final birth pangs on the Day of the Lord just before the Rapture occurs, as the sun turns black, the moon turns red, and the sky recedes as a scroll; then when the seventh seal is opened, there will be silence in heaven for about half an hour. I believe the reason there is silence in heaven is because Jesus Christ and his angels have already descended to the Earth in the clouds after the opening of the first seal, and the dragon and his angels have also been cast down to the Earth after the opening of the sixth seal, when the stars have fallen to the Earth. If I am correct, then the silence signifies there are no living beings (angelic nor human), populating heaven at this time, and that the Rapture has not as yet taken place.

Rev 8:1-6 When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. And another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar; and to him was given much incense; that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense went up with the prayers of the saints, out from the angel's hand before God. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake. So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

The prayers of the saints that go up to the throne of God with the smoke of the incense is a crucial event that must occur before the sounding of the seven trumpets because it will seal all the true believers living in the world with “God in their foreheads”.

Rev 7:1-3 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads."

We can also know that the opening of the seventh seal is occurring at the same time as the holding back of the four winds of Rev 7 because John sees the four angels holding back the four winds after saying “after these things”, meaning it is occurring after the cosmic events described in Rev 6. Thus we can know that the silence in heaven when God is receiving the prayers of the saints, the holding back of the four winds, and the sealing of the true believers with God on their foreheads, must take place just before the Rapture of the firstfruits harvest, which are 144,000 that are sealed in Rev 7. The Rapture is covered in greater detail in the next Chapter.

There are some good You Tube videos that show people creating these “stars” inside water, and you will see that the light will twinkle as a star does.  And for anyone interested in the Concave Earth Theory, here is a list of some good websites.
