Our Present Age
and how it will end

Chapter 5 – The Hive Mind

To work with a “hive mind” means that several minds are working together as a collective consciousness. In Mark 5, there is an account of a man possesses by many devils.

Mark 5:1-9 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes. And when [Jesus] had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains, because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones. When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him. And he cried out with a loud voice and said, "What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore you by God that you do not torment me." For [Jesus] had said to him, "Come out of the man, unclean spirit!" Then [Jesus] asked him, "What is your name?" And he answered, saying, "My name is Legion; for we are many."

As you can see when Jesus asked the unclean spirit for his name, he gave only one name while saying they were many. In Revelation Chapter 12 we read about a great red dragon with 7 heads.

Rev 12:3-4 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth.

Each of the 7 heads has its own individual ruling authority, but they exist as one unified body and  operate as one cohesive whole. In verse 9 we see that this dragon is accompanied by fallen angels.

Rev12:7-9 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

A horn in the Bible represents strength or power. The beast with 10 horns signifies that it will be granted additional power, so that it is going to possess a complete measure of power, strength, and authority to rule over the nations of the world during the Final Tribulation period (the time of Jacob’s trouble). In Rev chapter 17, instead of a red dragon that is physically located “in heaven”, we see a red beast with 7 heads and 10 horns that is physically located on Earth, as he was seen rising up out of the sea, having “one mind”.

Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

Rev 17:11-13 And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition. The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.

In the kingdom of Heaven, we also see a “hive mind”, or “collective consciousness”.

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

John 17:21 [Jesus is praying to the Father] I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in me through their word; that they all may be one, as you, Father, are in me, and I in you; that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that you sent me.
